Abilities Expo and Wheel:Life Join Forces for the Community

Wheel:Life—a global initiative that assists people in addressing the many challenges and questions that come with using a wheelchair—is hitting 2015 running with a relaunched website and propitious new organizational partnership with Abilities Expo.

“With our virtual audience spanning the globe, we wanted to do more to help introduce our members who use wheelchairs to lifestyle-enhancing resources including new products, local non-profit programs and other valuable connection points that are uniquely available through the Abilities Expo roadshow. We are honored to also relay the personal stories of people with disabilities who are living amazing lives that we meet within the extensive Abilities Expo community,” said Lisa Wells, Wheel:Life Director.

Abilities is also thrilled to join with Wheel:Life in supporting and engaging people with disabilities. “We’re excited about this new partnership with Wheel:Life,” said Abilities CEO David Korse. “We both strive to serve the same communities and, by working together, we both hope to serve more members of the disability community.”

The Word from Wheel:Life

Wheel:Life has the wheelchair user’s back on multiple levels. Their resources help people find quality health and medical resources, and related research and news. Not only do they have several e-book series available on Amazon.com as free PDFs for Kindle and iPad readers, you can even receive a complimentary copy of their latest book, 10 Fundraiser Ideas for People with Disabilities.

Furthermore, their social community offers networking within an online peer support group that is intended to promote a full and active life as a wheelchair user.
