My name is Jessica Frew, and I’m 24 years old. I have cerebral palsy and communicate with an ACC device controlled by my eyes. I’m a model, actress, children’s author, Miss Wheelchair NJ 2026, and a student majoring in criminal justice, psychology, and psychological rehabilitation, and minoring in disability studies. I face many hard challenges in my life as a nonverbal disabled woman who communicates with an ACC device. I allowed the challenges to affect me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually for 23 years of my life. Until last year, something spiritual happened to me to make me realize I can’t control challenges happening to me, but I can control how they affect me.
