Mr. Rotbart graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in 1994 with a degree in Chemistry. He subsequently attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 1997. During law school, Mr. Rotbart worked as a law clerk criminal defense attorney Roy Black’s office, and did internships with both the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
After law school, Mr. Rotbart became an Assistant Public Defender, wherein he handled over 1000 cases in the juvenile, misdemeanor, domestic violence and felony divisions, which included numerous bench and jury trials. Between 2000 and 2003, Mr. Rotbart worked with attorney Alan E. Weinstein, wherein he handled both criminal matters, as well as family law matters. Finally, in 2003, Mr. Rotbart opened his own firm, and has been assisting clients with resolving difficult issues since.
In 2014, Mr. Rotbart became associated as Of Counsel with the firm of Fuller, Fuller and Associates, and began handling cases in the Federal Courts pursuant to Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). While Larry and John Fuller have since retired, Mr. Rotbart continues to sue hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, and other places of public accommodation to compel them to become compliant with the ADA, and has done so without ever having charged his disabled clients a penny.
