Beth Kofsky has served as Executive Director of Housing and Assistive Technology, Inc. (HAT) since 2003, leading statewide efforts in Florida to make homes safer and more accessible for seniors and individuals with disabilities. With over 25 years of experience in residential rehabilitation, accessibility design, and assistive technology, she has overseen thousands of projects that remove barriers, improve safety, and maximize independence.
A Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and university guest lecturer, Beth brings deep expertise and a passion for creating inclusive environments where people can thrive at home and in work experience in the field of Residential Rehabilitation Inspection and cost estimating services with both Federal and State Funded Housing Programs. The Programs cover both Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach County. The work includes residential-home inspections, accessibility-barrierfree inspections and cost estimating services. HAT currently and in the past, has worked on numerous projects with various Cities and Counties with their Community Development Programs, their consultants as well as the Community Partners that operate their programs and their staff with operating the designated Residential Home Repair and Accessibility Projects, Minor Home Repair and State Housing And Initiative Programs (SHIP), Neighborhood Stabilization Programs (NSP) and
Community Block Grant Funding, Local Community Grants that the Cities and Counties are responsible for.
