Beth Kofsky has served as Executive Director of Housing and Assistive Technology, Inc. (HAT) since 2003, leading statewide efforts in Florida to make homes safer and more accessible for seniors and individuals with disabilities. With over 25 years of experience in residential rehabilitation, accessibility design, and assistive technology, she has overseen thousands of projects that remove barriers, improve safety, and maximize independence.

A Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and university guest lecturer, Beth brings deep expertise and a passion for creating inclusive environments where people can thrive at home and at work. She has extensive experience in Residential Rehabilitation Inspection and cost estimating services for both federal and state-funded housing programs. These programs cover Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Her work includes residential home inspections, accessibility and barrier-free inspections, and cost estimating services. HAT has collaborated on numerous projects with cities and counties through their Community Development Programs, consultants, and community partners. These collaborations support the operation of Residential Home Repair and Accessibility Projects, Minor Home Repair Programs, State Housing Initiatives Programs (SHIP), Neighborhood Stabilization Programs (NSP), Community Development Block Grant funding, and local community grants managed by cities and counties.
