With all the new products and cutting-edge tech, there’s always something fresh to explore at Abilities Expo. But this year, we are really pulling out the stops with a ton of new experiences and opportunities to increase your independence. You’re gonna LOVE it!


At Abilities Expo, ANYONE can climb! Take your adventures to new heights—literally—with the all-inclusive rock wall led by Guinness record-holding Paralympian Mark Wellman. This isn’t just any rock wall—Mark, a pioneer in adaptive sports, actually designed the adaptive climbing equipment that makes it possible for people of all abilities to conquer the climb.

Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or trying it for the first time, this free, inclusive experience is your chance to defy limits and reach the top. So, are you ready to climb? Mark and his team will be there to help you every step of the way!

Co-located with Abilities Expo on on March 26-27, the Abilities International Accessibility Conference is designed to unite complex rehab technology (CRT) professionals across disciplines, creating a hub to enhance professional practice and business through education, networking and thought leadership. Visiting industry professionals have the opportunity to earn CEUs, network and collaborate.


Six lucky winners will be awarded a fully accessible, 4-5 night vacation sponsored by Sweet Destinations Travel Team!

Come on by to learn more about and try a variety of adaptive sports! At the Sports Zone you’ll discover equipment and staff support so you can try several different sports. The Sports Zone is organized and presented by Angel City Sports. The Zone will be open whenever the show is open!

Explore how assistive technology can help you or your loved ones bridge the gap between ability and disability! See and try a selection of assistive technology, with options for all disabilities. Ask questions and discuss recommendations to find the most appropriate technology for your abilities and needs. The AT Network at Ability Tools expands the accessibility of tools, resources and technology that will help increase independence, improve personal productivity, and enhance the quality of life for all Californians.

Meet the region’s artists with disabilities! Shop their eclectic mix of original, unforgettable artistry. Featuring photographs, paintings, graphic design, and more. All available for both appreciation and purchase. Artist Market sponsor LA Goal is committed to creating opportunities and equity for adults with developmental disabilities so they can live more fulfilling lives. Their programs cultivate knowledge, skills, and confidence for their members to engage in meaningful work, encourage creativity and self-expression, promote health and wellness, and inspire meaningful relationships.


Free maintenance will be provided on a first come, first served basis by Sunrise Medical. This service will end one hour before the show ends each day.

Pride Mobility is sponsoring complimentary loaner scooters on a first-come; first-served basis to any attendee 18 years or older for use on the Expo floor. A government-issued photo ID is required to participate in this offer. This service is available during show days and hours until 2:00 pm on Sunday, the final day of the event.

On Sunday, March 29, Abilities Expo will open an exclusive early hour from 10–11 am for individuals with sensory sensitivities. This calm, supportive environment will feature dimmed lighting, lower noise levels and fewer crowds, giving guests the chance to explore the Expo at a comfortable pace before general admission begins.
