Sunrise Community, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating valued lives for people with disabilities. For more than 50 years, Sunrise has provided innovative, person-centered services that empower individuals to achieve independence, self-determination, and meaningful community involvement. Operating across Florida and beyond, Sunrise offers residential services, day programs, supported employment, and a variety of individualized supports.
This workshop will introduce Sunrise’s history, mission, and values, explain how our person-centered approach guides every service we provide, and outline the steps for accessing supports through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). The session will conclude with a Q&A.
