Autonomous Vehicle Study for People with Disabilities in Houston and Austin, Texas
Autonomous vehicle (a.k.a., driverless car or self-driving car) are already on the road. While this technology is expected to improve individuals’ mobility, far too little attention has been paid to its accessibility for people with disabilities.
Texas A&M University doctorate student Jinuk Hwang is conducting a survey of people age 18 or older who live in Houston and Austin, Texas who have visual impairments or physical disabilities to get your input on this issue.
Autonomous Vehicle Study for Disability Community in Houston and Austin
The survey will ask about the mobility issues you face daily, what you think about self-driving cars, and what you expect or any concerns you may have. As a token of their appreciation, the researchers will provide a $5 electronic gift card from Walmart or Amazon per your request.
