Named the 2026 Sports ’N Spokes Junior Athlete of the Year, Mary MacDonald is a 17-year-old T53 nationally classified wheelchair racer, multi-sport para-athlete, content creator, and disability advocate from Taunton, Massachusetts. She competes in track and road wheelchair racing, field events, and parapowerlifting.
At the 2024–2026 Hartford Nationals, Mary earned 14 national gold medals in track, seven in field, and four gold plus two silver medals in parapowerlifting. She holds four national parapowerlifting records, a Massachusetts powerlifting record, and a U17 national javelin record. In 2026, she also won silver at New Balance Nationals Outdoor.
