Wheelchair actor, disability influencer and author Vincent Rutley was born in Grand Rapids Michigan and raised in Pontiac Michigan. He graduated as a thespian in 2004 and began pursuing an acting career in the Metro Detroit area. Vince joined over 20 stage productions and was known as an up and coming actor stand up comedian and sketch comedy writer.

In November of 2011, Vince was in a near fatal car accident that paralyzed him from mid chest down and diagnosed as a quadriplegic. But his faith and tenacity just wouldn’t let him except his circumstances as a burden, but a way to inspire and even though this unexpected crisis may have slowed Vince down, it didn’t stop him from pursuing his dreams.

Vince returned back to the stage in 2014 not only as an actor but motivational speaker, adding a new element of story telling to his list of talents. After years of therapy, training and getting back into all the things he loves, he gradually shifted into the world of film landing commercial and local film work. Vince now resides in Phoenix Arizona and is breaking into the film industry as a disabled actor, producer and independent filmmaker.
