With a lifelong passion for patient care, Carrie Rooy began her healthcare career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, focusing on improving quality of life and supporting patients through rehabilitation and recovery. Building on that clinical foundation, she transitioned into the orthotics and prosthetics field, where she has spent nearly five years with Hanger Clinic serving as both a Care Coordinator and Empower Coordinator.
Throughout her career, Carrie has been dedicated to creating meaningful connections between patients, clinicians, and healthcare teams. Her experience combines compassionate patient advocacy with strong relationship-building skills, helping individuals navigate their care journey with confidence and support. She is passionate about improving patient experiences, fostering collaboration across healthcare settings, and helping patients access the resources and services they need to achieve the best possible outcomes.
