AMDA is a 501 (C) (3) Non-profit founded by John L Becker and Benjamin Becker in 2021 AMDA Vision “Working with people with disabilities to understand their Medicare options” Our Focus is to ensure that people with disabilities gain access to the Medicare benefit options they deserve.
AMDA Overview – why we exist!
- People with disabilities are marginalized and overlooked
- Healthcare continues to underserve this segment of the population
- Wrongly deemed a greater risk and higher cost simply because of their disability
- Most people with disabilities are not sick
- Seniors and members of the disability community deserve a full range of Medicare options. The AMDA believes that all Americans deserve access to healthy and well-informed lives. The AMDA promises to fight for people with disabilities to make sure they are treated with dignity and receive customized assistance in selecting the Medicare products they need.

• The coordination and development of customized programs and resources designed to assist various segments of the disability community - Empower the disability community with the information needed to make selections that fit their
lifestyles AMDA Mission - The AMDA mission is to create a strong engagement model by accomplishing the following:
- Helping members of the disability community understand their Medicare options
- Support local businesses that are owned and/or operated by members of the disability community
- AMDA Certification Workshops have been created for licensed life and health insurance agents with this in mind:
– Creating the “Benefit Navigator” role to support the individuals in the disability communities
– Creating over 280 new career positions
– Assist with the utilization of Medicare Advantage options
– Create a fully accessible website that fits the needs of the disabled community
– Provide ongoing assistance
– Develop national promotions to guide people to our website
– Provide local and national organizations with the knowledge to help those with disabilities navigate the information they need
The AMDA believes as do our friends in the disabled community in the mantra of “Nothing about us, without us.”
