Sandy Gilbreath is the blogger and voice behind My Sandy Trail. On her blog and social media channels, she talks about traveling as a caregiver, self care tips, and her life raising her son who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She hosts the annual Caregiving Mom’s Refresh Retreat, which provides a weekend respite for other moms like her, who are caregivers for their child with a disability. Sandy is the mom, travel photographer, and caregiver for Cory Lee, who runs the award-winning accessible travel blog, Curb Free with Cory Lee. Together they co-authored the children’s books, “Let’s Explore with Cor Cor” and “Let’s Soar with Cor Cor” and they run The Curb Free Foundation, which gives travel grants to wheelchair users to make their dream trip come true. She is the creator of “Hope and Dope” which is a comic strip designed to show a positive take on living life to the fullest with a wheelchair.
