Interested in Presenting a Workshop at an Abilities Expo Show?

Abilities Expo is always seeking speakers to share their expertise and knowledge with attendees. Are you a dynamic presenter with information to share on a topic of interest to people with disabilities and those who support them – families, friends and caregivers? We would like to hear from you! Please review the information below for complete details about the workshop program, how to submit a proposal, and deadlines.

Each Abilities Expo show presents workshops focused on relevant and useful information. The best workshops for Abilities Expo are those that present practical information that is useful for people with a wide range of disabilities. Please note we do not present motivational, inspirational, or life-story workshops.

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL TO PRESENT

If you would like to be considered to present a workshop at an Abilities Expo show –

  1. Download and review the Workshop Information Packet. This packet will provide you with information about the preferred topics.
  2. Submit your workshop proposal online.

We receive a high volume of interest. We'll confirm receipt of your proposal, and if selected to speak, will be in touch with you to confirm your session for a show.

DEADLINES TO SUBMIT WORKSHOP PROPOSALS:

All shows are booked up to one year in advance, so proposals should be submitted as soon as possible. For the full list of shows and their dates, please check our schedule on the website here.

Schedules are set 5 months before each show, but additional proposals are considered for last minute cancellations and/or the next year's show.  No matter how close we are to the show, feel free to send a proposal.  Our team will get back to you about what may or may not be possible.

All information is subject to change without notice.
