FROM Logan International Airport and Route 1A South
Follow the signs towards “I-90 West”- Ted Williams Tunnel. Take I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel to Exit 25, “South Boston”. At the top of the ramp take a right onto Congress Street. Take the next right onto D Street. After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer Street. Turn left at the first light (World Trade Center Avenue).

FROM Western Massachusetts via Massachusetts Turnpike
Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike /I-90 East to Exit 25, “South Boston”. At the top of the ramp, bear left towards “Seaport Boulevard”. At the first set of lights, take a right onto Congress Street. Take the second right onto D Street. After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer Street. Turn left at the first light (World Trade Center Avenue).

FROM Points South via I-93 (passenger vehicles ONLY)
Take I-93 North to Exit 20 (immediately after Exit 18). Follow the signs to “I-90 East”. Take the first tunnel exit to "South Boston". At the first set of lights, take a right onto Congress Street. Take the second right onto D Street. After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer Street. Turn left at the first light (World Trade Center Avenue).

FROM Points North via I-93
Take I-93 South to Exit 20A, “South Station”. At the end of the ramp, take a left at signal onto Summer Street at South Station. Follow Summer Street for approximately 1 mile, and the BCEC will be on your right hand side. Turn right at the second entrance to the BCEC (World Trade Center Avenue).

Parking and Drop-off

When you enter the BCEC at World Trade Center Avenue, you will immediately see the valet area on your right hand side. To access the self-parking lot, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking Lot in front of you.

Self-parking is $18/entry for most vehicles regardless of size (cars, SUVs, vans, conversions vans, 15-passenger vans). Buses and RVs are $36/entry. If you would prefer to valet park, the cost is $30/entry. All parking costs are subject to change.

A complimentary shuttle will provide service from the BCEC South Lot Parking Lot to Southeast Level 0, the exhibit hall and registration Level.

Drop-off Instructions:
Enter the BCEC at West Service Drive and check in with the Public Safety Officer, letting them know you will be dropping an attendee at the Abilities Expo. You will be directed to take a left hand turn down the ramp leading to Level 0. Once at the bottom of the ramp, stop at the stop sign and then merge left. Travel straight ahead and take a right hand turn at the flashing light onto Level 0 East Service Drive. Travel to the second set of sliding glass doors, which is Southeast Level 0 and drop off your passenger. To park, continue along the service road until you reach the South Lot.

Transpo to the Expo

From Logan Airport:

  • Take the Sliver Line Bus SL1 (MBTA)
  • Exit at the World Trade Center stop, and take the elevator up to Level 2
  • Take a left onto World Trade Center Ave, and the BCEC will be directly in front of you

Via Commuter Rail:

  • Exit at the South Station stop, and proceed to Summer Street
  • Via taxi or walking: take a right onto Summer Street and the BCEC is about 1 mile on the right hand side (415 Summer Street)

Via Subway (MBTA Red Line):

  • Exit at the South Station stop, and go up one flight of stairs
  • Take the MBTA Silver line SL1, SL2 or SL3 to the World Trade Center stop
  • Take the elevator up to Level 2
  • Take a left onto World Trade Center Ave, and the BCEC will be directly in front of you

Via Bus (MBTA #7 Bus - City Point - Otis - Summer Street):

  • Inbound Bus from City Point to South Station, get off at 415 Summer Street. BCEC is directly across the street.
  • Outbound Bus from South Station to City Point, get off at 425 Summer Street in front of the Westin Hotel, turn right off the bus and the BCEC is a half block up on the left.

Via Bus (MBTA Silver Line SL1, SL2 or SL3):

  • Exit at the World Trade Center stop, and take the elevator up to Level 2
  • Take a left onto World Trade Center Ave, and the BCEC will be directly in front of you

Via Taxi – Wheelchair Accessible Transportation Services

All taxicab drivers are required to accept any passenger who has a disability, including their service animal. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available upon request at no additional charge.
All Boston taxi cabs with fifteen (15) or more cabs are required to have accessible vehicles 24 hours a day. There are 78 accessible cabs in Boston.

  • Metro Cab - (617) 782-5500, has nine accessible taxis
  • Town Taxi - (617) 536-5000, has two accessible taxis

Via Uber and Lyft

Uber and Lyft will pick up and drop off passengers in the following BCEC locations:

Northeast Level 1
Southeast Level 0
D Street at Lawn On D

Both Uber and Lyft have maps of these new designated areas, and there will be signage around the building informing attendees.  Specific transportation arrangement must be made directly with Uber or Lyft.

Free Shuttle from BCEC South Parking Lot

A complimentary accessible shuttle will provide service from the BCEC South Lot Parking Lot to Southeast Level 0, the exhibit hall and registration Level.
